Paint Correction is a term describing the process of machine buffing and polishing automotive paint to remove imperfections. Some defects are micro-marring, swirls, light scuffs and scratches. Swirls and Micro-Marring cause light reflection off your paint. You notice these scratches in sunlight and other harsh lighting sources. Paint Correction removes these imperfections, restoring the clear, deep gloss of your vehicle's paint.
We need your vehicle for a minimum of 2-3 days. There are multiple steps needed to correctly prepare the vehicle for a coating. Once the coating is installed, there's a window when the vehicle can't be exposed to rain. We always schedule the proper amount of time required to complete the job to OUR expectations. Ask questions, do research and inquire about your installer's procedures. Taking short cuts or a quick turnaround should raise questions about the quality and longevity of the coating being installed.
Regardless of the vehicle's age, type or condition, these are the steps taken to install a coating.
1- Wash with a stripping agent to remove all waxes, sealants and fillers. Coatings will not adhere to surfaces that have waxes, sealers or fillers present.

3- Clay Treatment to remove imbedded impurities, on the surface of your paint. These impurities will creates a barrier between the pores of your paint and the coating. This will cause the coating to fail.
Here's a test to see if your paint needs clay treatment. Place your fingers in a plastic sandwich bag and lightly slide them bag across your clean hood. If it feels like Braille, your paint needs clay treatment.
4- Paint Correction to make the paint look it's best. Ceramic Coatings lock in the appearance of your vehicle's paint condition. Most vehicles that we install coatings on require paint correction at some level. Don't worry, we will explain what we are seeing and why it should be addressed. Of course, the final decision is yours.
